Dueling Cane (3.5e Equipment)
The dueling cane is a specially crafted stick, weighted so that it can be wielded swiftly, like a rapier. It practically is a rapier, except a relatively hollow, shaped metal bar replaces the blade, giving it bludgeoning damage, and lowering the threat range.

You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a dueling cane sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you. You can’t wield a dueling cane in two hands in order to apply 1-1/2 times your Strength bonus to damage.
If someone for whatever reason doesn't know what the dueling cane is, or is nonproficient with it, it can be wielded as a club of the same size. The dueling cane isn't designed to be thrown, and anyone who attempts to throw it takes a -4 penalty on the attack roll.
