Numerology Stone; squared (5e Equipment)

This square stone can exponentially modify the destructive or healing abilities of allies or completely minimalize the defenses and strengths of an enemy. A creature can only attune to so many numerology stones equal to their bonus of their highest ability score.

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Do I even need to explain why this is too powerful, even as a 1/day artifact? A single dagger attack goes from dealing 7 average damage to 49, and I don't even want to think about the upper limits (49284 damage, anyone?).

Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement)

When a creature deals damage or restores another creature's hit points while attuned to this stone, they may square the damage or healing of the effect as a bonus action, square root the damage or healing another creature they can see receives as a reaction.

This can be used once, regaining use at noon.
