Description
The repeating western rifle has a crank on the left side, which is turned as the trigger is held down. A repeating rifle has a removable drum which allows it to fire 40 times without reloading. Every attack roll fires 4 bullets. Damage is done per attack roll, and not per bullet. Attacking as a standard action will fire 12 bullets (3 attack rolls). A full attack can be made to fire 20 bullets (5 attack rolls). Reloading a repeating rifle takes 40 bullets, takes 2 full-round actions, and provokes attacks of opportunity. If carrying a pre-filled drum, reloading can be done as a standard action, but still provokes attacks of opportunity.
A repeating western rifle must be operated with two hands, as the trigger must be pulled along with the crank being turned.
