1. That's pretty much it, from what I read (I haven't had a chance to play it yet.) 2. I would say no, in part because the race is by no means natural, and in part because it's made of metal. 3. I would leave that to the DM. If yes, then you'd probably have the weilder say it. 4. Get one, quick. I'd suggest ethier the paladin or the barbarian, but probably not the wizard. 5. Yes. 6. No, because you don't have to bond or be a certain class, you just need a willing animated shield. 7. Not by default. 8. Mostly magic. Communication is possible, as is combat, but focus on magic. 9. Because it's the same concept, but with shields. Perhaps making this a April's fool would be the best option. -poni boyo

Not addressing any other problems, but not being able to pick up or hold anything kinda sucks Especially considering all the spells that require somatic components. Would it break things to add mage hand as a racial spell and remove concentration (and maybe the components like gith psionics.)
