Whaling Cannon (3.5e Equipment)

This is a large ballista like weapon that fires spears and harpoons at high velocity. It is too heavy to wield as an independent weapon and is therefore mounted, usually on seafaring vessels. There is a crank on the side to wheel in the harpoon and whatever it has struck.
